Does national guard income include a enlistment bonus in your taxes?

Under the State tax refund section, there is a spot where you use national guard reserve pay as a deduction. Can you include your enlistment bonus in this section as income or not? Thank you for your answers! Nice, you dont know but you answer anyways, Im in minnesota, and obviously the instructions were vague otherwise I wouldnt be on here asking now would I?
