How much are you paid for being in the national guard? What are the health benefits?

- Your pay is by TIG/TIS and you get paid for every UTA/RUTA. There are no health benefits unless you pay into TRICARE...unless you are AGR or Traditional.
- Your pay depends on your rank, you can look up a paychart for it. Health benefits are covered by Tricare but it's coverages depend on your status. If you went Active health care would be free and you would get more pay.
- Pay depends on your pay grade (rank). HEALTH CARE: You and your immediate family are fully covered when in active duty.
