Army Man

National Guard?

I am interested in joining the National Guard, but I am on felony probation for a drug charge. Any suggestions? I was going to say something to ceprn but it looks like yall did it for me. What a coward. I want to join right now because I want to defend my country at some capacity. I bailed out of joining the Army at the last second when I was in highschool because my folks agreed to pay for my college, but I always had a feeling of guilt for not enlisting and serving my country. I think now I am in a position in my life to do so.

1. Talk to a recruiter. They have all kinds of waivers for whatever you might need.
2. Talk to a recruiter, but they probably won't take you. AND, you'd be a complete fool to join while we are still in Iraq.
3. I doubt you can join....Need to talk to a Recruiter Don't listen to Ceprn....This is when you are needed most....Only a Chicken sh*t coward would not join due to a war.
4. ceprn - idiots like you don't deserve the freedoms our men and women have died for over the past 230 years. People didn't agree with America getting into WWII, either - thank God we didn't have someone like you in charge. Sugar, I have no advice, but good luck to you. I think it would be a great way to turn your life around and I really admire the fact that you are accepting responsibility for yourself. Nothing wrong at all with trying to make a better life for yourself.
